Who are you?
Kimmo “Kime” Kuoksa
What do you do at AtoZ, and how long have you been an #AtoZfellow?
I work as a project manager on customer projects, and at AtoZ I support my colleagues on a personal level and help out with other things whenever I have something to contribute. I’ve been happily working at AtoZ for about four years now.
How did you end up at AtoZ?
I already knew some AtoZ people from my previous work experience. When my journey as an entrepreneur was coming to an end, I got in touch with Jyrki. I stopped by for a chat, and here we are.
What’s the best thing about your work?
AtoZ’s culture and colleagues, as well as having meaningful customer projects to work on.
Share a technical tip related to your field, or tell us what you’re currently excited about.
At the moment, I’m excited about pretty much everything I’m involved in, both at work and in my free time.
If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
My superpower would be the ability to move at the speed of light. That way, I’d have time to meet more friends and acquaintances all around Finland and abroad.
What skill would you like to learn next?
Walking on my hands would be pretty cool.
What song best describes your life right now?
Jukka Poika – Kiitollisuutta
If you could spend a day with anyone, who would it be and why?
Easy one: Mika Häkkinen, of course.
What’s the best thing about AtoZ?
The colleagues, the open culture, the freedom to make your own choices, and did I mention the colleagues?
Tell us a surprising fact about yourself that others might not know or guess.
A fun fact about my surname is that it comes from the Sámi language and means a beaver that is about a year old or, more precisely, a sexually mature beaver.
What do you most enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy all kinds of projects around my property, whether in the garden or in the garage. I’ve been playing football for almost 55 years now, but I still haven’t completely mastered it, so I guess I’ll just have to keep going.
Culture and motorsports, whether watching or experiencing them myself, are also close to my heart. And these days, a rare treat is getting to head up north every now and then to spend some time working on our family estate.
The newest, and perhaps the most wonderful, addition to my life is that I got to take on the role of grandpa at the end of the summer.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I tend to do a bit of this and that and dash around from one thing to another, so maybe a monkey.
Finally, tell us your funniest work memory from AtoZ.
I can’t pick just one funniest moment, but what comes to mind are the happy atmosphere at our AtoZ parties and other get-togethers, as well as all those spontaneous funny moments that happen whenever we spend time together.
